IT infrastructure & systems executive
Roles & Responsibilities
- ☑️ Proven experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or system support roles
- ☑️ Strong knowledge of local area networks (LAN), routers, switches, firewalls, and internet connectivity
- ☑️ Experience configuring and managing proxy servers (e.g., Squid Proxy) and web administration tools
- ☑️ Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating system installation, configuration, and maintenance
- ☑️ Ability to manage system updates, patches, user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- ☑️ Experience monitoring system health, storage usage, performance, and uptime
- ☑️ Familiarity with CCTV installation, surveillance systems, recording, and access management
- ☑️ Experience handling cloud file operations using FTP/SFTP and basic cloud server management
- ☑️ Ability to manage and support internal web-based tools, admin panels, and internal software systems
- ☑️ Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, OS, network, and connectivity issues
- ☑️ Capability to perform technical research on tools, platforms, and APIs to support business needs
- ☑️ No software development or coding experience required
- ☑️ Strong documentation skills to maintain IT records, SOPs, and asset inventories
- ☑️ Good communication skills and the ability to provide effective IT support to internal users
- ☑️ Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- ☑️ Experience working with cloud hosting providers is an added advantage
Preferred Skills
- ☑️ Strong knowledge of computer networks, LAN/WAN, and operating system administration
- ☑️ Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux system management
- ☑️ Experience configuring and managing proxy servers (Squid preferred)
- ☑️ Knowledge of FTP/SFTP and cloud-based file management
- ☑️ Experience handling CCTV and surveillance systems
- ☑️ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- ☑️ Ability to work independently in a small-team or startup environment
- ☑️ Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills
- ☑️ High sense of responsibility with strong data security awareness
- ☑️ Basic understanding of cloud hosting environments
- ☑️ Exposure to API concepts for research and operational understanding (no coding required)
- ☑️ Comfortable handling multiple tools, systems, and responsibilities
- ☑️ Proactive, reliable, and structured approach to IT operations
